Nonprofit status

Voices on Canvas Inc. is a Colorado 501(c)(3) organization. Before any major grant submission, legal name, current IRS standing, board information and required tax filings should be verified against current records and the application packet.

Grant and vendor accountability

• Written scopes of work and deliverables for paid contractors.
• Reasonable pricing and procurement documentation.
• Conflict-of-interest safeguards and nonprofit oversight.

Privacy and data governance

The current network design uses data minimization. Public-resource information and aggregate or de-identified engagement data are the default. Community-created content should be published only with appropriate permissions and consent.

Current governance, tax, financial and policy documents should be added here only after they have been reviewed for accuracy, privacy and publication readiness. Do not publish internal drafts or sensitive personal information simply to make the website appear more complete.
